Another month has gone by and the Gimko team have rolled out some significant upgrades which our users have requested.
Custom Categories in Store
For our loyal store owners you asked and we have delivered. Now you will be able to create custom categories in your store. Simply go to My Gimko > My Store > Custom Categories.
In this section you can add custom categories as well as order them by simply setting up the order id of all the categories. If you want to add a sub category, simply click on the blue icon that looks like a folder tree next to the category that you wish to add the sub category under.
Once you have created all your custom categories you can pick from the ‘All Categories’ left section, which ones you want to display by selecting them and clicking on the arrow to add them to the ‘Selected Categories’ right section; alternatively you can leave them all in the left box and every category will be displayed by default.
Bulk Lister
Version 2.6 of the Gimko Bulk Lister has now been released. It is highly recommended you update to this version before creating any new bulk listings as we have incorporated the new custom store categories.
Once you have setup your custom categories on the website, you will need to download the custom categories into your bulk tool. Please note that all your custom categories will download even though they may not be selected to display. This will allow you to pre upload bulk listings for a category which you have not yet elected to display to your buyers for various reasons such as it is empty.

Buyers Address on Invoices page
To make a sellers life easier in calculating readjusted shipping costs we have added the address of the buyer on the ‘invoice’ page. This will allow you to more easily adjust shipping costs accordingly without the need to look up the buyers shipping address in another section.
Changed default sort of item listings
Due to many request we have redesigned the way the items are listed. Now they are displayed with the newly listed items first by default so you can now see the latest items listed much easier.
